The department has computer software’s like STAAD, AUTOCAD and ESTIMATION Software. Teaching Learning Process is centered on imparting not only technical skills in the subject but also soft skills so as to enable students to achieve holistic personality. Further, state-of-the-art laboratory and infrastructure facilities effectively aid teaching learning process.The department has 5 qualified Faculty out of which 1 faculty having Ph.D and 4 having M.Tech .The faculty members actively involve themselves in research activities and published/presented papers in National/International Journals and Conferences. The department has well established class rooms and Laboratories.

Established in the year 2009, the department of Civil Engineering offers B.Tech., with an intake of 60 students.
The curriculum in B.Tech degree covers core specializations of Structural Engineering, Hydraulics & Water Resources Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Surveying & Engineering Geology
“Sri V.B. V. Reddy Research Gold Medal” for the best Ph.D Thesis in Civil Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering for the year of 2014 by Andhra University held on 29th July 2017 awarded to Dr.T.V.S.Vara Lakshmi.
